The frescoes, arts and heritage circuit

This cultural excursion, at the crossroads of the town, will take you on a tour of our rich heritage, giving you the opportunity to discover a harmony of colours, original artwork, and historical buildings that, to this day, are a great source of pride for the people of Mont-Joli.

Les Murmures de la Ville (The Whispering Walls) is an invitation to come and discover the art of mural painting, in the very heart of our town. One by one, each mural will bring to life a part of our history, which continues to shape our future to this day.

Mont-Joli is delighted and proud to welcome you within its walls. We sincerely hope that you enjoy your visit and that you will have the opportunity to learn about our ancestors, as well as meet today’s residents who, each day, task themselves with creating the murals of tomorrow.

Following in the footsteps of cities such as Lyon, Mexico, Chemanius and Vancouver, Mont-Joli is ranked amongst the world’s most visited towns for its mural paintings.

As you walk through the town you will discover its very soul, so come and let yourself be charmed and let Mont-Joli occupy a very special place in your heart.
